DVD Parade Max Week 15 & Go Go Fail Whale Month 2 coming!

DVD Parade Max Week 15 we cover the 2011 remake of The Green Hornet by talking about the original series (which starred the late Bruce Lee) and the new movie (spoiler free first look).

Go Go Fail Whale Month 2 is out early since we finished it early. Next cast won't be until February.

Sad note (DVD Parade Max Week 14)

On a sad note it seems shortly after DVD Parade Max Week 14 (the review of Police Squad the Complete Series) was done and released Leslie Nielsen passed away. A dedication to him will be made at the start of DVD Parade Max Week 15 (coming soon).

The topic has been changed for Week 15, but the present details are abit up in the air (right now, however, I am opting for an upbeat funny slate of reviews for Week 15). Stay tuned.

Go Go Fail Whale Month 1 is up and running for download!

The first month of Fail Whale is now available for download! Pick up your first lesson in the way of Fail Whale today! Learn about cookies, and cookie monster mating practices. Ronald Reagan and the improbable (i.e. impossible) dream of becoming the next Mrs. Fields while teaching others how to speak like an American (Fail Whale). Enjoy!

Go Go Fail Whale Month 1 is done!

Originally to be a one shot it'll be a monthly lesson in Fail Whale instead.
Learn the ways of Fail Whale as you learn about Bob, Carol, their kids, their female friends and cookies. Cookies, people, cookies... oh, and Ronald Reagan too. Learn about him too, and how to Fail Whale.

Cast is coming tomorrow (Christmas Eve), and yes it is only a parody meant to be fun so please don't take it too seriously please... and don't give it to kids, I didn't have kids in mind when I made this (trust me).

Go Go Fail Whale Sampler (first 10 minutes) now up for sampling!

Download the first 10 minutes of Fail Whale 2011 to try it out, and give us input on it. The complete cast (and it's final name voted on by you) will be brought up New Year's Eve! In the meantime we're still taking votes for Cafe Jukebox and preparing for the end of the year!

My computer is still majorly messed up but I can begin to do podcasts again after regathering my digital tools for it, which means a return to work on Cafe Jukebox with Week 7 in mid production right now. Cafe Jukebox Week 6 Now Available

The newest all request music cast is now available for download!

This week we're featuring The Eagles, Rush, Luis Enriques (two songs this week are our first songs in spanish), Peter Auty, Stevie Wonder, Five Finger Death Punch, The Prodigy, The Cars, Weird Al, Beatles, Depeche Mode, The Firm, Dr. Demento, Shakira, Carlos Baute, Incubus, John Lennon and more.

In two weeks we'll hopefully begin taking requests so we can beging casting for our first Christmas themed cast (hopefully, knock on wood, stay tuned).

DVD Parade Max Week 14 Now Available

Week 14 is now available and we look at both Police Squad and Mel Brook's Spaceballs this week!

Next time out we conclude Star Trek Weeks with review of Star Trek 2009 and first look at Star Trek 2012 (the sequel coming soon).

After that we wrap up the year with a set of casts covering things you might not have checked out yet, starting with Big O's complete run on Week 16. Stay tuned!

Cafe Jukebox Week 5 Released

We were done a day early so it's out a day early.

This week we got music from Sherbert, Medic Droid, Blake Lewis, Jeffree Star, Weird Al, The Cure, Meatloaf, Dire Straits, Steve Miller, Queen, Kansas, ABBA, Journey, Coldplay, Annie Lennox, Ugly Kid Joe, Hilltop Hoods, Semisonic, Bush, Bone Thugs + Harmony, AC/DC and Snow Patrol.

We also wish someone a Happy Birthday (our first birthday wish) and come close to breeching the 2 1/2 hour mark this week!

New requests being taken this coming Thursday (December 2nd) over in Caval138 and via Facebook Chat.

Tomorrow is a new Request Day for Cafe Jukebox

First notice is that I'm going to start taking votes for a new name for the all request music cast so we can set that aside as it's own cast, so that's something we'll work on tomorrow.

A few new rules about requesting music
1-If you are listening from here and not presently, say, in the domain of Kingdom of Camelot I am taking requests from you can either message me on Facebook (Facebook Chat) or you can leave a request on the Thursday Request post I'll leave tomorrow here.

2-As recommended by Hazz we'll limit requests per artist/group to 2 songs per artist/group to avoid people becoming bored. I'll let you know as we take requests which artists/groups reached the 2 song limit as we go.

3-For Tijl. Request taking day is not suggestion day. We only want requests for songs from people who will, in turn, download the cast and listen to their requests... no "suggestions" please unless your downloading.

4-If we don't get a full cast by Thursday we'll keep taking requests Friday.

5-We'll try to take nominations for new name for the cast. Once we got a full cast we'll take the nominations and post them here to be voted on.

DVD Parade Max Week 13 Now Available

We wrap up Harry Potter Weeks with our review of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as coverage of 2009's Half Blood Prince and this year's release of Deathly Hallows Part 1 in a (knock on wood) spoiler free overview of the film's production. Enjoy!

Many DVDs to Watch!

Organized my stuff and I have quite abit to tell you about for the rest of the year! Here's abit of what we'll be watching to wrap up 2010.

Police Squad Cast - Abit of the lighter side.
Wrap up past casts - Finish up Ultra Maniac, full review Azumanga Daioh, wrap up Ichigo Mashimaro (Strawberry Marshmallow), finally conclude Star Trek Weeks, and do a new He-Man cast.

2011 hope to start off the year with the first Revolutionary Girl Utena review, as well as review random Godzilla, and have Lord of the Rings Weeks as we count down to The Hobbit Part 1.

Cafe Jukebox Premiere (new cast for just music)

It seems we tinker with music casts over and over again, here's attempt 3. This week is an easy start but next cast shortly we tie it in with Harry Potter Weeks and have a Harry Potter music cast (coming shortly). After that at the end of the week we have Week 3 (now rolling on a hopefully regular schedule) with animation music for the cast. Stay tuned for more as we begin to run the cast along.

Next up is, yes, Cafe Jukebox Week 2 (Tuesday) and DVD Parade Max Week 13 (Thursday).

DVD Parade Max Week 12 Now Available

DVD Parade Max Week 12 is now available, featuring Week 2 of Harry Potter Weeks and the reviews of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Years 3 and 4 of the Harry Potter series).

Next week's cast is DVD Parade Max Week 13, the finale of Harry Potter Weeks and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as well as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Then we'll take a look at the new Deathly Hallows Part 1 and see what we can find out about it that won't spoil anything in the movie for you.

Right now putting together Game On Max Week 3 and the second week of Harry Potter Weeks with reviews of Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (both for the PS2) and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the Game Boy Advance.

DVD Parade Max Week 11 Now Available (Harry Potter Weeks)

This week's first week of the three week Harry Potter Weeks is out, and we start by reviewing Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone as well as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! Posting up Game On Max Week 2 and our game reviews of the same, check that out on gameonmax.blogspot.com!

Next week is now being worked on and it's reviews of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as well as Goblet of Fire! Stay tuned!

Next Week (November 5th)

Star Trek Weeks wraps up at last with DVD Parade Max Week 11, covering Star Trek 2009 and first word on Star Trek 12 (coming in either 2011 or 2012).

After that we have one more cast Week 12 and then DVD Parade Max Week 13 and our Harry Potter one hour special covering as much Harry Potter as we can into a one hour special... and given our track record with Star Trek we may have to have a Week 14 special cast put out right after to bring you up to date with the release of Deathly Hallows Part 1 in theaters! Stay tuned!

Also in the future we'll have Week 3 of The Idiot Box and Week 2 at last of Trailer World (with our first thoughts on 2012's coming movies like The Hobbit Part 1, Ghostbusters III, Star Trek 12 and more.

DVD Parade Max Week 8 Now Available

The closing week of Star Trek Weeks Next Generation Edition, DVD Parade Max Week 8 features our reviews of Star Trek Insurrection and Nemesis, as well as the longest tribute yet for any Star Trek alumni (our tribute to James (Scotty) Doohan)!

Next week is random week (intermission before we finish Star Trek Weeks with Phase 3, Original Series Mach 2 reviews), more content news on next review coming soon.

Next Week (Friday)

Now permanently set for Multimedia updates (unless for special events like the upcoming Hawaii Five-O Premiere review cast coming September 21st) this coming Friday it's DVD Parade Max Week 8, and the second half of Star Trek Weeks (Next Generation Edition) covering the two downsides to the Next Generation movies, Insurrection and Nemesis.

After Trailer World Max Week 2 (one week later) we return to Star Trek Weeks with the finale in DVD Parade Max Week 9 and the second age of the Original Series Trek with Star Trek 2009 and the first word on the upcoming Star Trek 2012 movie (not much but what we can find on it).

DVD Parade Week 2 Premieres the start of Star Trek weeks

The first of what most likely will be a five week trilogy of Star Trek movie reviews starting back in the beginning with my review of Star Trek The Motion Picture and Star Trek II : The Wrath of Khan!

Three updates.

First off DVD Parade Week 2 is in the works. Hope to have it out tonight.
Today it's going to start off with a Star Trek review-a thon with me talking about the entire series from start to end prior to Star Trek 2009 (that's one or two box sets of content right there, and what I think of them both).
